WELCOME TO THE SEMIPRO BCS NATIONAL RANKINGS WEBSITE
The SemiPro BCS National Rankings was created by Anthony McCormick for the purpose of bringing a free national ranking system that is similar to the College BCS Rankings but modified for the Adult Amateur football level.
These formula used for the SemiPro BCS National Rankings is similar to the College BCS however there are no coaches polls, no fan polls and no associated press polls. The formula used to calculate all rankings are outlined on the about us page of this website.
The process of becoming a member of the SemiPro BCS National Rankings is a simple one; you will have to speak with your league’s commissioner and inform them that you wish to have your league enter into the SemiPro BCS National Rankings. I WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT INDIVIDUAL TEAMS!
Next you must submit your score by 10am CST Monday following the previous game by using the submit scores link. Failure to submit scores on time will result in your scores not being reported for that week. Submitting late scores more than once will result in your league being removed from the SemiPro BCS National Rankings permanently. Once again the deadline for submitting scores is “NO LATER” than 10am CST Monday following the previous game. NO I WILL NOT LOOK FOR YOUR SCORES and NO, I WILL NOT SUBMIT PREVIOUS LATE SCORES! Standings are typically updated Monday afternoon and will be as accurate as possible as long as scores are submitted by the 10am deadline.
Rankings are posted every Thursday unless there is a personal issue preventing them in which they will be updated when the time allows.
Some important information to help you understand just how the rankings work (this should eliminate all of the “I suck” emails from those people who have not learned how to read).
The rankings begin fresh every year so it doesn’t matter who you beat in 2000, 2005 or even 2009. All rankings are based on the current year. Some leagues begin in January, some in July, teams that begin sooner will naturally be ranked higher than teams that are just starting. The rankings will start to sort out once you have played an equal number of games.
I can NOT manipulate the criteria to help give you a higher ranking and NO I DON’T GET PAID so there is nobody putting anything in “MY POCKET”.
It’s not only who you beat but it’s also who your opponent beat and who your opponent’s opponent beat.
It you have not beaten any teams with a winning record, a better record or have not played any teams with an equal record as yours then chances are “YOU ARE NOT THE #1 TEAM” in the country.
If you have not played any teams with a winning record “AT GAME TIME” chances are “YOU ARE NOT THE #1 TEAM” in the country.
If your margin of victory is not higher against teams with better records than yours chances are “YOU ARE NOT THE #1 TEAM” in the country.
It is important that you understand that all scores must be reported by no later than 10a CST; failure to report scores on time will not only affect your ranking but it will also jeopardize your membership in the SemiPro BCS National Rankings.
All questions can be answered just as long as you maintain your professionalism when sending emails. Please do not send threating emails as they only make you look “stupid” and chances are I will simply remove you and your entire league for such stupidity.

THIS IS A “FREE” service to the Adult Amateur Football Community; I am human and will sometimes make a mistake; if you find an error please send me an email stating what the error is and I will do my best to correct it by the next ranking update.
Currently there is a plan in place for a Spring/Summer National Championship Game in Atlanta Georgia in October; I am in the process of working on a Winter/Spring National Title Game for 2011 and Summer/Fall National Title Game in December of 2010.
